A little about me

Currently, I work as Team Lead at the Research and Insights department at Dasra, Mumbai. My work focuses on cross-sectoral research across health, livelihoods, and sustainability with the aim of unlocking philanthropical capital for civil society in India. It also entails codification of emerging trends in the domestic philanthropy giving space to serve as a reckoner for other intermediaries and other civil society actors.
Over the last decade, I have straddled across academic and policy research, journalism and teaching. I have a PhD (Public Policy) from Ashank Desai Centre for Policy Studies, IIT Bombay. My thesis focused on healthcare financing in India, with a focus on Empowered Action Group states. As part of my stint at IIT, I also contributed to projects funded by UNICEF and World Bank.
